Terms of Service

Please use the website lawfully. Don't send false information or spam, and don't try to break into, overload or interfere with the website or our systems.

The text, photos, logo and other content on the website belong to us or are used with permission. You may not copy them for commercial use without our written permission.

Sending the estimate request form is a request for us to contact you. It is not a contract. A preferred visit date stays a request until we confirm it with you.

Prices, ranges and estimates we discuss or send you are not binding on you or on us until you sign a written estimate. An estimate may show a date until which it is valid.

Once you sign a written estimate (electronically through our link or on paper), that estimate and its contract terms govern the work. They cover the scope, price, deposit, payments, schedule, changes and warranty. If they conflict with these website terms, the signed estimate controls. Changes to the work are made with a written change order or a revised estimate.

Your right to cancel: every signed estimate includes a Notice of Cancellation under Ohio's Home Solicitation Sales Act (Ohio Rev. Code 1345.21 to 1345.28). You may cancel before midnight of the third business day after you sign (Sundays and legal holidays are not business days), as explained in that notice. If you cancel, payments you made are returned within ten business days after we receive your cancellation notice.

The deposit and invoice amounts are the ones shown on your signed estimate and on your invoice.

When we offer online payment, it is processed by Stripe on Stripe's secure checkout page and is subject to Stripe's terms. Your card or bank details are entered with Stripe and are never stored by us. A bank (ACH) payment counts as paid only after your bank completes it. We may also accept payment in person, with a receipt.

We photograph the work area before, during and after the job to document the work.

We publish photos of your project on our website or portfolio only if you gave us permission for that job. We never publish your name or street address with them. We may mention the city or area. You can withdraw permission at any time by emailing nextfinishcarpentry.us@gmail.com, and we will remove those photos from our website.

Our website and our emails link to other services (for example Stripe, Google Maps and Instagram). Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

The website is provided “as is”. Photos, descriptions and other information on it are general examples of our work. They do not promise a specific result or price for your project.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the website. Our responsibility for work we perform is set by your signed estimate and by applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Ohio consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.

If we change these terms, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. The terms in your signed estimate do not change unless we both agree in writing.
